There are times on Saturdays or Sundays that Tricia and I will lay in bed for a while and watch TV. Our internal clocks have an alarm of about 6:30AM, so inevitably we'll be awake around then...not to mention that Earl's usually goes off around 5:45 and we are treated to a series of grunts and sneezes until we let him out. We'll go through the morning ritual of letting him out, feeding both he and the cats, then heading back to the bed to watch some TV. If any of you have done that before, you know that there's really nothing good ever on at that time except informercials. We've seen the Little Giant and the Magic Bullet way too many times. One morning, we became captivated. Check that, I became captivated and drug Tricia into it as well. What informercial was this you may ask? 80's Gold TV. Yes, the big hair and greed decade pulled us in with it's catchy lyrics that we all know the words too. Journey, Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, Wham, Rick Springfield...the list goes on. I can say with all honesty that this was the closest that I've ever come to ordering something from an infomercial.
Now, the CD playlists are on the website. How easy would it be for someone to download these songs and put them on a series of CD's? You know, someone with Limewire. Someone who likes to make mix CD's. Anyone know someone like that? Maybe a loyal blog reader?
On another note, we had some bad weather here, but we're all OK. It's tornado season!! Yay for Missouri!
