Libby was the only one at daycare the other day and she and Kim had a girls day. They went to the beauty supply store where Libby contemplated what they should buy. She walked around saying "Hmm.." with her hand on her chin. Then they went to look at shoes. Libby told Kim that she could not leave the store without these boots.
Actually she probably said something like, "Pim." (that's what she calls Kim.) "Boot!" Kim did tell me that she was undoing her sandals as soon as they started down the shoe aisle. Now she wants to wear these big furry boots around the house. It's very cute.

Spray Park
We have a new spray park in town that is fantastic. We love it! Libby has a blast at this park every time we go. I think we could go everyday and she would not be bored with it. There are lots of very big fountains and sprayers which she does not like very much but she loves the littler ones. When we leave she will say, "Bye wawa. See you soon."

Libby being a mommy
We took this video last night of Libby. We thought it was really cute that she wanted her baby to see out the window and then put it to bed IN the window.

Backyard fun for Libby
We finally fixed up our sandbox for Libby to play in today. She also got this cool sprinkler for her birthday and we took her outside to play with it all after her nap today. She LOVED it all! She was a little apprehensive at first, but soon took to the water and the sand.

Elephant Memory
I have said in previous posts that Libby has the memory of an elephant. About a month ago our friends, Rich and Shan, came to visit. Libby probably spent about 6 hours with them total. She keeps looking upstairs and asking for "Chan" and "Roush". We went to visit them when she was about 11 months old and I think she remembered them from that visit. Elephant, I tell you!
She is also starting to know that her name is Elisabeth. I was calling her that earlier today and she'd give me a cute little look and say "no" like she won't answer to it.
"Mommy, this is not my best hairdo. Please don't take my picture." Actually she was upset that I wouldn't let her play with the camera. She really thinks she's a pro photographer.
