Berry Picking

We found an awesome pick your own farm today. They had cherries, blueberries, and black raspberries today. Soon they will have blackberries, tomatoes and something else I can't remember. They will also have apples, corn, and pumpkins later on in the fall. We plan to return a lot.

Libby and Brynn have never tried fresh cherries before. Both loved them.

We already know that Brynn could eat blueberries ALL day long. She loved this part.

Libby loved picking the cherries and blueberries and told me many times what a good idea I had to go do this today. We wouldn't let the kids pick the raspberries because they had thorns. We didn't know that so we weren't prepared with gloves.

B-Money and Daddy getting some good ones.

I just thought this looked cool.

We've moved!

Well, we've made the move. Everytime I want to take pictures of the new house, the kids get to it first and mess it all up! Anyway, we're sort of settling in. I can get to the grocery store, the wine and beer stores (I'll explain that later), Walmart, Chocolate World, and a few other places by myself without writing down notes or pulling out the map on my phone. I registered Libby for first grade. I wish they had summer school here but they don't. Libby is signed up for a summer session of a dance class that starts soon so I hope that will help her make a few friends.

One thing we did to try to blow off some steam and spend some family time together was that we purchased Hershey Park season passes. We've already used them enough to justify the cost. Libby rode her first roller coaster last night and got a new shirt to prove it! She was a little unsure when she got off of it and I'm not sure she'll do it again anytime soon but she handled it like a champ. It is a pretty mild ride but does have one loop. It was the first looping coaster on the East Coast back in 1977. We're pretty proud of her for having the guts to try it. We've also found that Brynn is a dare devil and she really wants to try to SooperDooperLooper too but is just not big enough.

Because of the move and the stress involved, I have not taken too many pictures lately. I'll try to get better about it soon. I did accept a job. I have not started yet but I will be a behavior specialist helping adults with disabilities. I will be working part time which is nice since it will allow me some time to get involved at Libby's school. The job will likely move to full time at some point but I don't know when yet. I was pretty excited about the job after my interview so I'm thrilled that they wanted me to work with them too. It seems like a very laid back place to work.

Other good news - our house back home is under contract. We have to wait for them to sell their house but it looks as if that will not be much longer. They house is in a great price range and has had several showings and a few repeat showings. So we might have this thing locked in soon which would be great.
