This weekend, we had wonderful weather. It was almost 80 degrees today! Unfortunately, tomorrow it is supposed to sleet and snow. Too bad our spring weather is not lasting longer right now.
If you don't know, Mike is going to be baptized, receive first communion, and confirmed the night before Easter this year. (As an added bonus: once he's baptized, our marriage becomes sacramental too. You get 4 for the price of 3!) It has been a long process but we're very excited for this event. During Lent, he (and others going through this process) have to get up in front of our church community each week. The community prays for them during this time by holding a hand out to show support. Last night Libby and I were sitting in the cry room while this was going on and she saw everyone holding a hand out and started to do it too. She was so enthusiastic about it. I told her that she was praying for Daddy and she giggled. I'm very proud of Mike for deciding to join the Catholic Church. Like I said, it's been a long process but I know he feels strongly that it is worth it.
On another note, this is Libby's new hairdo. She evens sits still while I put her hair up now. What a good girl!
