We're Back

Mike and I just got back on Friday from Cancun. We had a wonderful trip.


This guy was just hanging out in the lobby of our hotel one day.


Here we are listening to some music waiting for the live entertainment to begin.


One day we went on a snorkeling trip and we each got a chance to drive a little speed boat. It was really fun and the coral reef was beautiful.




This is a picture from our boat ride out to snorkel. We drove through the lagoon out to the ocean through the mangrove trees. It was really pretty.


We had requested a room with a king size bed but instead they gave us two double beds pushed together in a room with a better view. So, this is the biggest bed we've ever seen!


Libby was a little upset with us when we first got back that we left her behind but as you can see she got over that pretty quickly. After her initial upset, she kept wanting to sit with us and cuddle.



On another note, keep us in your thoughts. It's a long story but Mike had to reapply for his job because they are doing a little restructuring with job titles at his university. We thought is was just a formality, but another person has applied for it as well. If he doesn't get the position, then he doesn't have a job anymore. If the other person doesn't get the job, she still has her current position. We should know by the end of Monday or Tuesday whether he gets to keep his job or not. So, please hope for the best as we are a little nervous about the whole thing.
