First Big Bump

Last night we had a function up at school that I had to help work at and Mike wanted to come so we could try to win some tickets to Disney - we're going in March. Libby was getting pretty fussy and one of the teachers has a little wagon that she puts lunch boxes in. Libby kept pointing to it and saying "drive" so we put her in it and pulled her around the school. Well, the wagon stopped for a little bit so we could look at the things up for auction. Libby stood up in the wagon and fell forward. She busted her lip open and was bleeding EVERYWHERE. After a few minutes we got the bleeding to stop but Libby handled it like a champ. Her lip is a little swollen but all in all she's fine. I feel bad for her though because it looks like she took a fall at daycare yesterday too. Her little nose was a bit red and she had a red spot on her forehead too. Poor kid.

We have been wrongly accused and are setting the record straight! Libby's totally awsome daycare played no part in the nose and forehead injury sustained on this particular day. It is our policy that once parents enter A Home Away From Home they assume total responsibility for their children. Upon Tricia's arrival Libby was bruise, scrape and bump free. We had just unwrapped Libby from the protective bubble-wrap suit that she wears while at daycare to insure that there are no nose and forehead injuries. Therefore we demand a formal appology from those who have wrongly accused us. You know who you are.
